تعدادی از دراویش زندانی که پیشتر در اعتراض به محدودیت ها و فشارهای اعمال شده بر نورعلی تابنده، قطب دراویش گنابادی دست به اعتصاب غذا زده بودند، کماکان در اعتصاب به سر می برند. این زندانیان در پی تداوم اعتصاب بعضا به خونریزی معده، پایین آمدن سطح هوشیاری و عدم توانایی برای راه رفتن دچار شده‌اند. 
با گذشت ۴۱ روز از اعتصاب غذای ده ها تن از دراویش گنابادی، جمعی از آنان همچنان در اعتصاب غذا به سر می‌برند.
بیهوشی، اختلال در تکلم، سطح پایین هوشیاری، خونریزی معده و عدم توانایی برای راه رفتن از مشکلاتی است که این شهروندان در اعتصاب از آنان رنج می‌برند.
همچنین تعدادی از دراویش محبوس در زندان تهران بزرگ که پیشتر به زندان قزلحصار کرج منتقل شده بود، روز پنج‌شنبه ۲۱ آذرماه تحت تدابیر شدید امنیتی به یک سالن بسته در این زندان منتقل شده‌اند.

Recently, some Gonabadi dervishes had gone on strike standing against the restriction eradicated on Norali Tabandeh, spritual leader or Qutb of Gonabadi order.
Some of those recently have gone on hunger strike, yet to keep on striking among which a few are suffering from gastric difficulties like bleeding, low level of consciousness, and inability to walk.
After 41 days of hunger strike, yet dozen of dervishes still keep on.

Also, a number of Dervishes, detained in the Greater Tehran Prison, formerly transferred to Ghezel Hesar prison in Karaj, were transferred to a closed room on Thursday, December 12th, under strict security measures.
